[00:00:00] Speaker A: The content's good at most conferences, but the way they do this one with the interaction. [00:00:04] Speaker B: Right, exactly. [00:00:05] Speaker A: Laid back. And people get to move around. And even if you're a vendor here, a partner, people go and see your stuff and they interact. So I just think it's. They do such a good job. Bob's done such a good job making this a great conference. [00:00:17] Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. It seems like everybody's like, very chill, like a nice vibe, very friendly, so you can meet people. I met doctors, I met other lawyers, you know, from all over. [00:00:45] Speaker A: Most firms survive. The best ones scale. Welcome to the Managing Partners podcast, where law firm leaders learn to think bigger. I'm Kevin. Daisy. Let's jump in. What's up? Lardy graw here again, 2025 in law de Gras, best conference of the year. And we're just pulling in some great people. I got Arkady here, met him just a bit ago. Owns a PI firm in New York. [00:01:13] Speaker B: Yes, yes. [00:01:14] Speaker A: And we're here to see why he's here and learn more about his business. So tell us. [00:01:19] Speaker B: Yeah, so I have a PI firm in New York. We focus on traumatic brain injury, serious accidents like commercial trucking, spinal fusions. You know, we do pretty much all types of personal injury. And we try to take cases, like, smaller amount of cases, but work them up the right way. So we could take them to trial, to a jury trial and get like maximum compensation for the clients. That's kind of our focus. [00:01:43] Speaker A: So trial lawyer. [00:01:44] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. [00:01:45] Speaker A: Sets you apart from the ones that are not trial. Yeah. So. So based in Brooklyn. It sounds like you cover a lot of. Around New York City. New York, you do the whole state as well, or. [00:01:56] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, we could do. If it's the right case, we could do the whole state. Mostly we do New York. We have two offices in Brooklyn, like South and North Brooklyn. We have a queen's office, a Manhattan office, as well as a Bronx office, so. [00:02:08] Speaker A: Oh, wow. [00:02:09] Speaker B: So, yeah, that's a lot of. [00:02:10] Speaker A: A lot of footprints there. How's that helped you from like maybe a digital footprint or. [00:02:15] Speaker B: Yeah, so the one thing with having multiple offices is it helps with the Google Maps. So being in the local. Local search and then be being in the results and then you get more cases, like local cases from let's say the Bronx or the neighborhood in Queens or. [00:02:30] Speaker A: So densely populated. [00:02:31] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, because New York is. Exactly. [00:02:33] Speaker A: I can see that being a huge advantage. Obviously we do marketing, so it's, you know, look at where the office is going to be and trying to make sure they show up. [00:02:40] Speaker B: Right, Exactly. [00:02:41] Speaker A: Just a good strategy. So what brings you to Law de Gras? [00:02:45] Speaker B: Yeah, so I just wanted to meet a bunch of people, like, you know, network. And I was really interested in AI because I'm using AI a little bit, but there was other vendors here with other AI capabilities that I don't have yet, so I wanted to focus on that. And then the other thing was I was really interested in maybe systems and processes. And I saw there's some, like, good companies here. Like, one of them is called Fireproof, I believe, and they're doing some systems and processes to, like, improve your firm, maybe to scale and open additional offices. Because that was one of my ideas, actually. Maybe open up an office in like, even California or Texas, because I'm actually a graduate of University of Texas School of Law in Austin and I'm admitted in Texas. I just, I passed the bar there. So possibly Texas, possibly Florida. You know, just expand and, you know, grow the. Grow the firm. I mean. [00:03:32] Speaker A: Well, that's what the podcast, you know, we obviously have the managing partners podcast and Spaghetti on the Wall today. We're doing like a co op, if you will. [00:03:41] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:42] Speaker A: But it's all about business. It's about scaling law firms, growing law firms properly, and obviously law degral. All the content here. Fireproof. That's Mike Morris, right? Mike Morris program. And so, yeah, we're all just here to learn and, you know, grow our businesses, take care of our clients. [00:03:57] Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. [00:03:58] Speaker A: AI is a hot topic. [00:03:59] Speaker B: Yeah, of course. Yeah. [00:04:01] Speaker A: So you came in the right place. [00:04:02] Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. I really like this conference. It's. It's been really helpful and the lectures are good, but the, the people, I think the networking is like, what really sets it apart. And then today they're going to do the concerts. It's going to be a lot of fun, too. [00:04:14] Speaker A: So I was here last year. The concerts are amazing. But to your point, the content's good. At most conferences it's. But the way they do this one with the interaction. [00:04:24] Speaker B: Right, exactly. [00:04:25] Speaker A: Laid back and people get to move around. And even if you're a vendor here, a partner, like, people go and see your stuff and they interact. So I just think it's. They do such a good job. Bob's done such a good job making this a great conference. [00:04:39] Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. It seems like everybody's like, very chill, like a nice vibe, very friendly, like, so you can meet people. I met doctors, I met other lawyers, you know, from all over. And it's really helpful for me because I also have a YouTube channel. So what happens is. Yeah, so I basically go on YouTube, I go live, and people join, and they ask me questions, I answer them. And, you know, it's grown to the point where we have about 200,000 views every month. So what I want to do is when I get cases, like, sometimes when the people will ask me a question, you know, I'll do my best to answer it on YouTube. But then, of course, that's just a comment when you're live. So then I'll give them a number, and they'll text me directly, and we'll do a live call. And then if they need a lawyer, it could be anywhere, right? It could be in California, Florida, Omaha, Nebraska, wherever. So then I'll refer them to the best trial lawyer in that city. Because my whole message on YouTube is to get justice for the client. Maybe get them away from, like, some of the billboard lawyers that are more in it for themselves and making money and do what's best for the client. So then what happens is, I love it. You know, here I met other lawyers I could refer to. I met other, you know, vendors, technology vendors that could help me implement. Implement this, to scale it and do it, do it better. [00:05:50] Speaker A: Check out attorneyshare. [00:05:51] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:05:51] Speaker A: Attorney Bob's companies. [00:05:53] Speaker B: Yeah. Attorney Share. So it's really sweet. So I'm kind of looking forward to that. Yeah. [00:05:58] Speaker A: Awesome. Well, it's been a pleasure to meet you. He was just walking here in a booth. We're like, hey, man, let's get you over here. Let's talk about your company, talk about your firm. Awesome work with the YouTube channel. And it's. These lawyers can do it. I know some lawyers that are crushing it on YouTube, social media, and just putting themselves out there. So congrats on doing that. [00:06:16] Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I think it's definitely worth it for lawyers to do that. I mean, it is a little bit of a. Like, I started around when Covid in 2020, so it took about five years, but now I'm to the point where I got almost, I think, 14,000 subscribers. And you even make some money from YouTube. Not that much. Maybe like a thousand bucks a month, but it's not about that. But then you get these cases where you could get, like, of course, referral fees, so you can make money on that. And. And you. And I get a lot of direct New York cases, so it's definitely worth it. And plus, like, you're really doing a good job and you're helping people. So if you really care about that and you're passionate about it. That's, like, the main thing, so just feel good, so. I'm grateful for that. [00:06:50] Speaker A: Yeah. It's good to share, you know, so. Well, thanks for sharing on here with us today at Lardi Gras at the conference, and look forward to hanging out with you. [00:06:57] Speaker B: Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you. [00:06:59] Speaker A: All right, everyone, see you next time. [00:07:07] Speaker B: Sam.
