Kevin Daisey chatted with Linward C. Edwards, the managing partner of The Law Offices of Linward C. Edwards. After serving in the Air Force, he went to college to study law and served at other practices before opening his own firm in 2012.
In December 2014, Mr. Edwards was appointed as a Municipal Court Judge for the city of Florence, South Carolina. He continues to serve in that capacity on a part-time basis. He serves on numerous boards in his community including the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area as well as The N.A.A.C.P.
Linward is also an active and founding member of M.I.N.G.L.E of the Pee Dee which stands for Minorities Involved In Networking, Growth, Leadership, and Empowerment. The nonprofit was formed in 2014 and its primary purpose was to highlight minority businesses and professionals of color.
